From a Therapy to a Hobby to a mission…

The story of 7Wear started as fine motor skill Therapy for the Dad of our family who at 50 years old was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Making crude wooden rings helped steady the tremor in his hand (and keep him sane) while learning how to deal with this new lifestyle. Who knew that he would actually get pretty good at it? A Hobby was born! Dad was making rings for his family and friends but was soon running out of fingers to adorn. The next step was taking this hobby out of the backyard and into the garage and start a family business. Mom and Dad thought it would be a great idea to teach their 5 teen-agers how to operate every step of a business. And that became our Mission. Each of the kids chose a job; Photographer, Developer, Customer Service; Quality Control and Design. Mom takes care of the money of course and Dad is out in our garage making fun and unique jewelry for for everyone. You are about to become a part of this journey with us and you don’t even have to be part of our staff meetings!

Because this endeavor has helped so much in the therapy of parkinson’s in our family a portion of each sale will be donated to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
